Sd. Kfz. 221/222

A Kfz. 221-es és 222-es modelleket Németország 1936 és 1938 között szállította Kínának, 1938 után viszont a fennálló szövetségi rendszernek köszönhetően Kína már sajnos nem számíthatott újabb szállítmányokra Németországtól.

ENG: The Kfz. 221 and 222 type armoured cars were supplied to China from Germany between 1936 and 1938. After 1938, due to the newly established alliance system, China couldn't hope for more supplies from his former German ally.  

A Kfz. 221-es első variánsa alapból csak egy MG-13-as géppuskával rendelkezett, majd 1938-tól kezdve ezt egy MG-34-esre cserélték (a németeknél tuti, a kínaiaknál a mai napig nem találtam rá fényképes bizonyítékot, hogy birtokukban lett volna az MG34-es géppuskából. Az első pár darabot Kínában kizárólag PLA-s katonák kezében láttam, 1949-es fotókon, Shanghai "felszabadításakor".). Néhány 221-est felszereltek egy 20mm-es KWK 30-as vagy egy 2.8cm-es sPzB 41-es típusú anti-tank puskával (ezt immáron egy módosított löveg keretein belül).

ENG: The first variant of the Kfz. 221 was only had an MG-13 machinegun, after 1938 it was changed to the MG-34 (the germans surely, I didn't find any evidence from the Chinese theater that they had any MG-34's in their possesson. The first few photos I saw Chinese soldiers with MG-34's, are from the "liberation" of Shanghai by the PLA troops in 1949.)
A few of the 221's were equipped with a 20mm KWK 30 or a 2.8cm sPzB 41 type anti-tank rifle (placed in a modified turret).

A Kfz. 222-es paramétereit tekintve megegyezett a 221-esével, viszont kapott egy 30-wattos FuG 10-es, közepes hatótávolságú rádióantennát. A későbbi verziókban ismét az antennán módosítottak, így azokban már egy 80 wattos FuG 12-es kapott helyet. A három főnyi kezelőszemélyzet egy sofőrből, egy parancsnokból és egy rádiósból állt. 

ENG: The attributes of the Kfz. 222 were the same as the 221, but it was equipped with a 30-wat FuG 10, medium range antenna. The later versions were only differs from this one in the antenna too, those models got an 80-wat FuG 12 type. The 3 personnel of the car consisted a driver, a commander and a radioman.
